ABOUT SHERIDAN
Sheridan Merrick (she/her) is a proud hyphenated artist: a writer-composer-performer-director-dramaturg, if you will, with a particular passion for theatre and film that engages with the ethics of the present moment. Originally from Baltimore City and now based in Philadelphia, Sheridan crafts stories which work to embody their values not only in content, but in form -- and in the processes which create these. Exchanging traditional hierarchies for earnest collaboration, Sheridan is a team member who listens, prods, and at her best, inspires. She is currently working as Assistant Director and Dramaturg of the film adaptation of Isabella Waldron's play Jawbone, and as Story Editor and Associate Producer of the documentary project 23: The Tale of an Exoneree. She is also Education Coordinator at Theatre Horizon.
